I am a dreamer.....50 cents by Nov then bonus when reporting 3Q2012 result ^^
For the robin site, I rather they hold and increase the plot ratio. If increased to 2.8 then the land bank would double. People have been asking what's next after The Laurels. Is it a once-off event or can the company continue to grow? That's why I am hoping that they could get a good plot of land soon so that after The Laurels, the company could continue to post growth in earnings. Mind you this year earnings is about 10 cents and ROE of around 20%. If the company could show that it could grow....then at present price of 38 cents.....which is PE of 3.8 then it is really a good investment.
The company has not been successful recently in its land bid hence I would rather that they wait and see if the Robin site's plot ratio could be increased. If the company continues to be unsuccessful in its land bid but the plot ratio of Robin is increased then most probably we would be able to see a profit growth in 2014 and 2015....since this time round if plot ratio is increased to 2.8, the plot size would be close to The Laurels but it would be a 100% owned project and not a 70% JV.
Anyway this week there are 2 land tenders......one today.....let's see.....
A 30% discount to RNAV of 70 cents would be a fair value for this stock === 49 cents.
Still 10 cents more to go, after touching 39.5 cents this morning.
1. Sing Holdings has a nice upward slope that has steepened in the past 1 week.
2. Trading Volume (circled) has become intense.
3. You know what, some big holder (nick 'propertyinvestor' from Valuebuddies.com) has been letting go a few hundred lots --- I don't know his rationale, but the steady rise in price has denied him a lot of profits.
4. Despite this guy's selling, the price rise has been continuing. I expect that it will move faster after the block is cleared.
RNAV is in the 60s cents conservatively. Why did he sell? My reading is he lost patience after holding the stock for a long time and it didnt really get recongised by the market. And he sold into a rally, and felt he had let go of a frustration.
I hope he made some decent profit, if not extraordinary profit.
