Today Atlan hit another all time high at $4.58 at bursamalaysia. Duty free price steady at around 33-34 cents.. Both well supported.. watch out for action in june when Altan has to release some of it's share to satisfy the 25% public spread, that's when berjaya can go in and buy up

Berjaya corporation berhad (“bcorp” or “company”) proposed acquisition of 40,000,000 ordinary shares of rm1.00 each in atlan holdings berhad (“ahb”) (“ahb shares”), representing 15.8% stake, for a purchase consideration of rm170 million or rm4.25 per ahb share, to be satisfied by the issuance of rm170 million nominal value of new irredeemable convertible unsecured loan stocks (“new iculs”) and 170 million detachable warrants in bcorp (“proposed acquisition”) We refer to the announcement dated 3 May 2012 in relation to, amongst others, the Proposed Acquisition. On behalf of the Board of Directors of BCorp, Maybank Investment Bank Berhad wishes to announce that it has today submitted an application to the Securities Commission Malaysia (“SC”) to seek its approval for the issuance of the New ICULS under the Private Debt Securities Guidelines issued by the SC. This Announcement is dated 1 June 2012.
