The US ,  the most advance technological country, can see a candle from outer space with their spy satelite. They know the seriousness as to plan for evacuation of their citizen in Japan, so is UK and several countries, read CNN. They must have see the damaged reactor from space like we watch our TV a few ft away, good enough to assess the damage.
Using helicopter to cool down have failed as reported in Bloomberg. What else in store?? Why the US is not helping out? Why Obama is keeping quiet?
The last time , i saw russian using the same method , but they use sand , becos their reactor have melt into the earth and polluted almost all of Northern Europe. Till this day, damage are still there. Many animal died and those living cannot reproduce. And the forest turn red ard the reactor many kilometer from gd zero.. If this will to happen in Fukushima, as to expert said, Toyko will be done for.
If that is the case. not only Saizen , but all mkt will collapse big time. We can only pray not becos of mkt, but millions of life in the way of the reactor fallout.
And to say Singapore is very far and safe???I wonder you remember years back, there was a volcanic eruption in Philippine,I was shock to find my car was covered with ashes from this volcanoes. So you thk we are safe, imagine instead of ash, radiation in it place..I hope Singapore will never built nuclear plant. Casino already causing problem .
But again, you will say, you are over reacting, Japan is twice as far as Philippine...but isnt West Coast of US much twice as far enough, but they still hit by Tsunami. There is nothing consider too far for this sort of radioactive contamination. I read the the fume will be blown and can reach California, but they said the radiation will be low to cause harm.
Now, it is not stock, not of mkt, not of any thing, but of God. God have mercy. I pray to God.
The more prayer the better , cause the scripture said, 2 or more gather in my name....we all here are definitely more then 2. So be it. Amen, done and safe

TOKYO, March 18 (Reuters) - Japanese shares jumped 3 percent
and the dollar surged against the yen on Friday after the G7
group of rich nations agreed on joint intervention to curb the
Japanese currency's rise, showing its support as the country
 struggles with a nuclear crisis.

The G7 move comes a day after the yen soared to a record
76.25 <JPY=> in chaotic trading, and a week after Japan was
struck by a 9.0 magnitude earthquake and devastating tsunami
that crippled the Fukushima nuclear power plant.

The dollar spiked nearly 3 percent to a high of 81.49 after
the announcement of joint intervention, which came just as Tokyo
stock markets opened. The dollar was last trading around 81.30
yen <JPY=>. Traders said the Bank of Japan  had been spotted
 buying dollars.
]
The Nikkei share average <.N225> was up 3.1 percent in early
trading, to stand down around 10 percent on the week and headed
for its biggest weekly slide since the 2008 financial crisis.
 JGB      futures <2JGBv1> fell.

Shares of big exporters, whose profits are eroded by a
stronger yen, were prominent among the gainers. Honda Motor
<7267.T> and Kyocera <6971.T> both gained 3.6 percent.
"The main things investors are worried about now are the
nuclear plant, impact of the earthquake and tsunami on firms and
power cuts putting pressure on Japanese manufacturers," said
Norihiro Fujito, senior investment strategist at Mitsubishi UFJ
 Morgan Stanley Securities in Tokyo.

Worst is over - can Saizen recover too? I believe so....
Japan had some success cooling reactors at the crippled Fukushima Dai-Ichi plant, bringing two of the six reactors under control and connecting a second electric cable to the station, according to reports.
Tokyo Electric Power Co., the operator, declared Units 5 and 6 safe after cooling water pumped into them reduced temperatures, the Associated Press reported. An electric cable was hooked up to the No. 5 reactor, Kyodo News said, also citing Tepco.
U.S. Energy Secretary Steven Chu said the Obama administration believes the worst of the crisis is over. Unit 2, where Tepco connected a 1.5-kilometer (1 mile) power cable March 18 as it tried to revive cooling systems knocked out by the magnitude-9 temblor and tsunami, is the main source of concern, Chu said on CNN’s “State of the Union” program.

Nikkei up 300 points this morning and Saizen is doing 14.5 cents --- wish I had the courage to buy when it was the darkest hour last week.

Decided to offload the warrant that i have brought at 4.5 cents at 5.5 cents. A good short term investment so far but decided to deploy the fund into Cambridge and AIMREIT instead.
Both Cambridge REIT and AIMREIT is giving dividend yield of close to 10% at current price and both trading at 20% discount to NTA. While it is not as undervalued in term of NTA compare to Saizen, it is more stable....
Cambridge did a re-financing of its loan as well as liquidated some property above book value. Intend to keep these two REIT for dividend yield and might even surprise with capital gain since the larger REIT are mostly trading at premium to NTA

Wished I had moved $ into this REIT, especially when it fell to 12 cents during Jap earthquake/tsunami.

Rock solid... @ 15 cents now, unchanged from start of 2011. Where to find another stock so resilient? Dividend yield about 7% is supporting it.
