In Singapore, it is a S$27 million contract to supply and install kitchen cabinets and wardrobe systems for 1129 units in Reflections at Keppel Bay.

In Dubai, Design Studio has recently been awarded a contract worth S$19.1 million to supply and install joinery products to 899 luxury apartment units in Burj Dubai.
Last year, the Group secured a groundbreaking contract in the Middle East market worth S$18.8 million to supply and install kitchen cabinets, main entrance doors, corridor wall and ceiling panels to the same apartments in Burj Dubai.
The project is slated to be the world’s tallest building when completed this year.
Design Studio’s new contracts bring its current order book to a record $189.32 million. With new projects on the horizon, the order book looks set to further increase in 2008, said the company.
Design Studio registered an increase of 28.1% in revenue to S$76.4 million on strong contributions from both domestic and overseas projects last year.
Net profit attributable to shareholders jumped 57.2% to S$8.8 million. This translates into higher earnings per share of 4.03 S$ cents versus 2.65 S$ cents recorded in the previous year.
