Valuetronics 38.5 cents. Is this a value buy? For sure, the consumer electronics division continues to suffer margin squeeze. It's the ICE segment that must offset this weakness>
At this pt, the 2Q (ended sept 2014) results show that Valuetronics can prevent its bottomline from collapsing.
2Q revenue at HK$627.6m (-0.7%) and net profit -8.4%. If 3Q net profit is a double-digit % decline, then it's hard to sustain investor interest.
Once again, they have proven the skeptics wrong; the management is innovative and will fight for increase in their market share. Glad I did not sell when price went down to 30 cents. (vested)

Am hopeful that the dividend payout could be maintained for this FY.
The strength and adaptability of the management team is evident and this augurs well for the company and its shareholders.
Even not accounting for the higher fex rate (hkd/sgd) and assuming that the company retains its same dividend per share, the yield for this current FY would exceed 8%.
Clearly, a solid small cap stock. Glad I bought back after the MBB report.
Where's the Maybank analyst Ms Truong Thanh Hang? This is not personal but no report from her now and surely, if her investment thesis is still right, she should put out another SELL report. If she realises her mistake, then do U-turn and call a BUY, lah.
