UNITED ENVIROTECH will build China’s largest MBR plant under a RMB264 million contract.
It secured its largest EPC contract in terms of both value and treatment capacity from Guangzhou municipal government.
The project is earmarked to improve Guangzhou City’s overall environmental performance in preparation for Asian Games in 2010.
Construction of the plant is expected to be completed by June next year and to positively impact FY2010 performance.

AUSGROUP announced the award of two contracts awarded to AusGroup’s Australian subsidiary, AGC Industries Pty Ltd, by Woodside as part of the Pluto LNG Project.
“With these contracts we have now secured a total of five contracts covering fabrication services, construction services and scaffolding services which demonstrates the diversity of our business in relation to Australian LNG project development,” Mr John Sheridan, the MD, said.
The Group’s order book now stands at AUD$347 million, which includes the additional Pluto contract awards.
