LMA has not resumed its share buyback. Adding to the negative implication of that, it announced that a substantial shareholder -- which is a fund manager -- "Porter Orlin, on behalf of funds it advises, sold 6,400,000 shares in a private sale."
Of course, we all can read it differently -- that there is an investor out there who was prepared to gobble up 6.4 m shares all at one go. That's about S$2.7 million worth. It has to be another fund.
Distribution is about 62 cents, stock price now 58 cents.
Not worth an arbitrage. This sort of finalisation will take at least 6 months.....need first to have EGM for LMA shareholders to approve of the deal.
