1. The warrants are tradeable and will be listed from mid-Dec. There is an exit route for anyone who chooses to exit.

2. Highly unlikely for Technics to pay out fat dividends. Cash balance is not so great and its new leasing biz will need cash support.

3. chairman Robin Ting bought 255,000 shares at 66 cents from open market today .

The Ting family & Tay family have undertaken to subscribe for the rights to the warrants. 26.2% + 5.1% = Total ard 31.3 %.

Eversendai was prob not required to give an undertaking. It's v interesting to see if Eversendai subscribes for the rights. It holds 20% of Technics.


but won't be diluted even if it doesn't subscribe -- not yet, until 3 years later when the warrants are exercised by holders.

Warrants start trading today. With mother share recently at 68 cents, the warrant price could trade around 40-43 cents (considering that the wrt strike price is 25 cents). Let's see....

Didn't happen as I expected. Warrants only at 29.5 cents -- I think it's because of profit taking by those Technics shareholders who were granted the warrants at 12.5 cents while non shareholders bought the rights at 20 cents + paid 12.5 cents to exercise the rights.

Doesn't this provides an arbitrage opportunity?

Warrants now deep in the money.
