kiasu, you are right taht the vol is usually low but the daily volume last week was very high.

Hiap Hoe has rallied nicely in the past week after DMG & Next-Insight highlighted this gem.
My questions: Will Hiap Hoe increase its final dividend payout? Will it have another land purchase soon?

Target price already exceeded. Now what?
Wait for DMG next upgrade to .....75 cents?
Sure have room to upgrade, becos RNAV is $1.20+. Just give a 30% discount to RNAV and voila yu get 84 cents!

[OMG 05-07-2012]:

DMG's very conservative target of 61 cents.

"We continue to like the stock for its earnings visibility, disciplined management and undemanding valuation. Our target price of 61 cents is based on 50% discount to its RNAV. MAINTAIN BUY

RNAV is $1.36.....Hiap Hoe will trend upwards towards its RNAV, a few cents a week. Catalyst will be another analyst report. Maybe DMG again, with upgraded target price.

The price movement is quite strong on an uptrend. It's v different from the quick speculative run in March arising from the father-sons  dispute, etc. I read The Edge article with some amusement :
Hiap Hoe jumps on takeover talk
