Singapore, 1 April 2010 œ Rickmers Trust Management Pte. Ltd., Trustee-Manager of Rickmers Maritime, refers to the article titled “To the rescue of Singapore trust in soup with seven boxships in TradeWinds, dated 1 April 2010. The article states that “Rickmers Group is prepared to take back seven containership newbuildings.. that Singapore-listed Rickmers Maritime Trust (RMT) is struggling to finance.

These seven containerships refer to the three 4,250 TEU Hanjin vessels and the four 13,100 TEU Maersk vessels that are due to be delivered to the Trust. The Trust would like to clarify that while it has been in negotiations with Rickmers Group regarding these containerships, and these negotiations have been positive. The final action concerning these ships will depend on the outcome of negotiations in relation to the Trust's financing issues with its lending banks and subject to unitholders' approval. Advanced negotiations with the Trust's lending banks are still ongoing. The Trustee- Manager will keep the shareholders informed and updated on material developments in respect of the above matters. Further announcements will be made as and when appropriate in a timely manner.

what a strange question... Why do you buy the stock in the first place? What has changed from the time you bought this stock. Are the reasons why you buy this stock still remain unchanged? If you buy because you hear market rumor, then you probably deserve to lose money on this stock. :laugh: :laugh:
