CHINA CNR Corp said it won the local industry’s first major contract in the U.S., with an agreement to supply 284 subway cars for $556.6 million to the state of Massachusetts.
State-controlled China CNR Corp. said on Thursday it will supply cars for the subway system for the city of Boston. In a separate statement, the Massachusetts Department of Transportation said an arm of CNR submitted the lowest bid.
