Jaya Holding

Another share sale by Orchard Centar Master Limited. 16,460,000 shares at 65.5 cents on Sept 13.

I don't understand why when Jaya has said it is going thru a strategic review to unlock shareholder value.

I am also equally puzzled by such a move. If I am not wrong, I think the seller is one of those parties who took an interest a few years ago when Jaya was in some financial crisis.

10 m shares done at 66.5 cents in married deal before market opened. Buyer going to collect $200K in final dividend too!

Deutsche with its 159.18 m sharees will collect in excess of S$3.1 m in final dividend. Me will collect .....

Jaya has touched 70 cents. Could it be that the review is going to come up with positive shareholder recommendations?

May be the buyers know something we dont know.

Jaya has the right profile for long term investing - strong financial position, low price/book, strong operational cash flow, good dividend yield, in O & G sector etc. A lovely quiet stock in my portfolio.

The business review exercise, to unlock value, may provide a further catalyst to this stock. Looking forward to the results. Be patient.
