Another stock going for dual listing! MAP has just announced a listing on Taiwan. This one actually is natural choice, as its parent company is also listed in Taiwan. And in Taiwan, perhaps they love technology manufacturign stocks a lot more than in Spore. So on the whole, the news will lift the stock price tomorrow and giong fwd? What do you gurus think?

THE first round of TDRs will be made up of shares sold by the substantial shareholders - such as Min Aik Technology wh which is the controlling shareholder, and by Ferrell Asset Management/
Good news! No wonder share price is supported at 7 - 7.5 cents. Announcement at lunch time today says that : The Board further wishes to note that if the participation is extended to the Shareholders generally, the Board is currently of the view that the offer price of the TDRs should be pegged at not less than NT$10.40 (i.e., effective offer price of not less than S$0.075 per Underlying Share based on the current NT$:S$ exchange rate of 23.11:1.00)2 and at a conversion ratio of six (6) Underlying Shares into one (1) TDR.

Not much news about MAP Tech for a long time. It is exposed to the Hard Disk Drive industry, so I suppose it should be doing fine. The 2Q results may be worth looking out for as they had provided for all the bad news in the last financial year.
