Can anyone enlighten me on the key risks of this business? It's the only biz on SGX, quite an interesting play on the Chinese consumer and rising middle-income wealth. I can see the risk of its fish kena disease, but I think this is something that they would have prevention measures for. It's the most obvious thing they have to constantly address, so I am not so worried.
An unpredictable risk is the emergence of another major aquarium, with more interesting exhibits and and a host of events/ related attractions that can make Straco's relatively boring.
Ok, that's it for the time being. Pls share your views on the risks.
Company will release 3Q results after market closes today. Trading volume is pretty good at over 400,000 shares today but no change in price at 25 cents. I guess next week onwards, company will resume share buyback.
