Is Q&M a buy at 40 cents? I doubt it. The company\'s revenue & profit have grown steadily and demonstrated that it is a recession-proof business. The net profit margin is 14.2% which is very good (tho I wonder if they are embarrassed to reveal it publicly since medical services are supposed to be affordable to the public). Anyway, on an EPS of 1.39 for last yr, the PE ratio looks expensive at 28.8X. This stock is being priced as tho it is a small-cap fast grower, but in reality the business is a gradual grower.
Hey buddy. Q&M has defied yr analysis. Now 84.5 cents! Double the price you cited in June 2010. PE is real expensive at 58X. Good luck to shareholders. This one is not for me.
The stock is trading currently at a
PER of 54x on its past-12-months’
announced earnings and a Price to Book value of
8.4x based on its March 2011 book
value.
Unbelievable -- it hit 90 cents today. then there was announcement of TDR plan.
How on earth will the Taiwan investors want to buy stock at this nose-bleed valuation? It's not as tho there's no other dental stock around -- or healthcare stock.
I wonder what cow sense the analyst who wrote this has >>>
Q & M Dental Group (QNM SP, $0.81, NOT RATED) – The news combo of a proposed TDR issue, the financial endorsement by International Finance Corporation and plans for a separate listing for its China dental operations in the long term has sent Q & M’s valuation soaring. The stock trades at 32x FY11 PER (consensus) and 8.3x P/B. Its growth outlook, however, does look sexy.
32X this year’s earnings!
8.3X book value!
These are horribly expensive figures in a market that has become so cheap.
