40 cents.....Profit taking after results FY11 net profit increased by 100.2% to S$48.6m --- driven by private sector demand for the Group’s construction and construction-related services.

It is good to see that they declared dividend of 1 Scts per share and a special dividend of 0.6 Scts. Shareholders luv this payout -- dividend yield of 4.2%.

Order book currently stands at S$839m. CIMB has a BUY call and TP S$0.67.

b) Lian Beng part of Consortium for LINCOLN SUITES 175 unit project. About 82% or 46 units of the 56 units under Phase 1 were snapped up by the close of the weekend (October 24 25, 2009). Expect to benefit from their development projects as well.

UOBKayHian (UKH) analysts have a trading buy call of S$0.415. The same reports states that the Group T12M P/E is 4.7X, which is, according to UKH, about 19% discount to their industry peers. They also stated that the current order book for Lian Beng as of June 11 is S$941m - a historical high. Personally, such anaysis a good for additional information that you may not have had on hand from the company website or SGX. Lian Beng Group has a stable profitable business, and yes, the 1cent + 0.6 cent special divident to be paid out on Oct 19, 2011 reaffirms this. (2010 divident was 0.8 cents total). My current target price is between 50 and 60 cents, but may continue to hold, depending on how the price progresses in the coming months and my monitoring based on TA (still new at it, so rather not share) and the Macro view of the global economy. I find the SGX stocks tend to be overly influenced by the DOW, though its been proven by several authors that there is no correlation. Human sentiment, one cannot control. (looked like my last post screwed up, so hope this is not a repeat post)

Hey Reck & ChillX, i observe that like Tuan Sing, Lian Beng is a stock that doesn't really move(approx.35-36 cents)before its earning season. You can monitor after the reporting season, how their prices shall perform. LOL. How do u guys think? Any best construction stock around???Wish all have a fruitful investment ahead. :)

34 cents CD. So big an order book can last up to Fy14. With such wonderful visibility, the stock should be worth more than 34 cents. How about 43 cents? hahaha.... why the market irrational?

IPO of its subsidiary in Taiwan should be around the corner. Has it announced a specific date, anyone? This event is likely to catalyse the stock price of LB, now at 39.5 cents. Looking at 47 cents at least.
