Roxy has traded up to 60 cents ! We are just a few days away (this week or early next week) from its results announcement. Should be great, going by OCBC's forecast. The key is still the dividend payout... Last FY, final dividend was only 0.924 ct while interim was 0.67 ct.
RECORD NET PROFIT OF S$92.2 MILLION IN FY2013. -- This is one helluva profit for shareholders.
- Proposed a final cash dividend of 1.297 SGD cents per share, bringing total dividends for FY2013 to 1.913 cents per share, 50% higher compared to prior year (2012: 1.2752 SGD cents).
Yield is better than expected (but cannot compare with Valuetronics and a few others).
General sentiment is not positive towards property developers . however, if their overseas ventures show strong performance, then the stock prices can recover strongly. Anyway for Roxy, I think the price has been resilient at the 58-62 level because it's orderbook in SG is nearly S$1 billion.
