In a 15 May 2012 report titled Healthway Medical: Stronger Outlook ahead on this website, writer Leong Chan Teik said HEALTHWAY MEDICAL CORP posted a $1.9 million net profit in 1Q, up 24% year on year. "This adds credence to a market view that the company is on a path of sustainable growth under Lam Pin Woon, who took office as President and executive director in Jan 2011 after being headhunted from the CEO post at the Health Promotion Board." Lam has recently resigned. Does that mean Healthway is still seen as "on a path of sustainabe growth?" In that same report DMG & Partners was said to have "re-initiated coverage of the stock on March 12 with a BUY recommendation and target price of 11.6 cents". Is this still the case? Anyone know of any updated report by Leong or by DMG, please share the latest development here. Thank you.

Suggest NextInsight interview the new president. Ask what his plans are for Healthway. Ask why the chairman sells part of his stake. Many questions to ask.

Stock has been going down since Peter Lim sold his stake. Healthway needs a shakeup or a strategic partner like Peter Lim. India's  Fortis will be a great choice.
