Dont expect much from 3Q results. It would be ugly. But the high-speed train tenders should be coming in an avalanche. That's what people are holding / buying Midas for.

Told you .....

the Company expects to report an unaudited net loss for the three months ended 30 September 2012 (“3Q2012”).  This is mainly due to:
- Lower revenue;
- Higher operating expenses and finance cost;
- Share of loss from its associated company, Nanjing SR Puzhen Rail Transport Co.,
Ltd.

Nevertheless, the Company’s consolidated results for the nine months ended 30 September
2012 (“9M2012”) are expected to remain profitable.

They said consol profit for 9months will still be positive.

So looks like the loss in 3Q will not exceed RMB 16.9 m (WHICH was the 6 months profit for FY12). Tolerable  by the market.

JMS, I seriously wish so as I'm waiting to collect Midas anytime soon. The growth prospects in China rail transport is so much brighter, plus a S'porean CEO & governance team.

If you have not collected a single share of Midas, it would be a good idea to do it at this level and soon. Who knows when this opportunity will fly away. If you hv some already, or 'enough', like me, it's ok to wait for any possible plunge to 35 perhaps. Fat hope? Anyway, we never really know in advance what stock prices will do. Just buy at levels you are comfortable with, and invest in companies whose prospects are going to get brighter. MIDAS
