It's kind of odd -- my contact said her CAH shares have been borrowed through Shares Borrowing & Lending scheme by someone who could be a shortist. What's going through his mind? Short CAH? Why?

Notwithstanding the 7.4% drop in STI since 3 May, China Animal has notched an impressive gain of 9.3% over the same period. Based on chart, CAL seems to be in the midst of forming a bottom pattern. Do view ernestlim15.blogspot.com/2012/05/some-st...h-out-as-market.html for more details.

The chart looks pretty and momentum traders will jump on the bandwagon. FA-wise, the time should be near for CAH to finalise the delisting details and the offer price. In this weak market, I think the offer would be just above 30 cents, which is >25% gain for anyone entering at this point in time. It's a fantastic risk-reward balance.

Finally....? The Big Offer?

How much? Never mind ... it's going to be put on the table???

Company asked for TRADING HALT - "Pending the release of an announcement regarding a matter which is price sensitive in nature."

…… all Shareholders would be entitled to tender all or some of their Shares for cancellation and receive a cash exit offer price of S$0.30 per Share which is cancelled.

Shareholders who do not accept the cash exit offer in respect of their Shares would, to the extent their Shares are held on the Bermuda register of members, have their Shares transferred at the Company’s cost to the Hong Kong branch register of members (and such Shares would continue to be listed on the SEHK).
