Valuetronics's business model has evolved into an IoT play and this has become interesting. Management is strong and forward looking.

My core small cap stock.

Valuetronics reported solid 3Q results and this certainly validates the turnaround of its CE business segment.

Business model has strengthened delivering these key initiatives – new revenue stream from smart LED lighting products with Internet-of-Things (“IOT”) features and continued growth with the connectivity modules used in automotive industry

Quality of management continues to impress – conservative (huge cash reserves) but yet adaptable and forward looking. They are looking into investing further in the car connectivity industry.

Group is well positioned for growth.

I would expect share price to re-rate sharply.

I had highlighted on 7th November 2016:

Valuetronic Q2 2016 revenue and profit is back on the uptrend.
Q2 revenue increased by 8.4% and the profit increased by 18% on increase profit margin.
6 months 2016 revenue decreased by 2% but profit increased by 3%.
Going forward Valuetronic revenue and profit will continue to growth power by ICE segment.
The future of Valuetronic looks promising.

Valuetronics just reported solid 3Q results:
3Q revenue increased by 35.2%.
Net profit increased by 70.2%.
Cash flow = HK$670m.
Zero debt.
Cash per share = S32 cents
EPS = HK29.1 cents
NAV = HK$2.30

Valuetronics Business Outlook
1. Continued to benefit from the widened customer base in the ICE segment.
2. The CE segment has moved out of contraction from the discontinued mass market LED and returned to growth with new revenue stream from Smart LED lighting products with IOT features.
3. The ICE continued to deliver growth with connectivity modules used in the Automotive Industry.

Dividend yield of more than 6%. (FY2015 dividend = HK20 cents)
FY2015 dividend = HK20 cents, share price @ 57 cent (yield of more than 6%)
At 57 cent it is trading below 10x PE.
Valuetronics is due for further re-rating in its share price

Solid price reaction yesterday.

Given the fragmented shareholdings, stock could attract venture capitalist funds, leading to M&A opportunities.

Valuetronic share price had increased by another 30% since last month after the 3rd quarter result trading on high volume.

My post on 10th Febuary 2016:
As market does not like uncertainty and since Valuetronic BOTTOM IS IN SIGHT I BELIEVE IT IS GOOD TIME TO ACCUMULATE VALUETRONIC SHARES given that the share price is currently depressed and trading below 10x PE. This year dividend likely to be about HK 15 cents. (50% paid out yield about 7%)

My holding average at 40 cents, including dividend of HK20 cents, gain of about 100%.
