She now specializes in topics related to companies' corporate governance and risk management as well as environmental and social responsibility. Her portfolio also includes the following:
- Driving Financial PR's Sustainability Reporting service from a branding perspective since 2017.
- Editorial and production of CFA Singapore's thought leadership quarterly magazine since 2010.
- Editorial and design conceptualization of annual reports (including drafting the Chairman's Message and Financial and Operations Review) since 2010.
When she was Investor Relations Team Head for the Marine Team at Financial PR, she raised the public profile of her clients from a wide spectrum of industries among analysts, fund managers, as well as the financial and trade press. She passed all 3 levels of the CFA® charter exams within 3 years during a 4.5-year stint as a stock trader at local broking firm RHB Securities (formerly DMG & Partners Securities). She has also worked for 2.5 years in Reuters, with a key role in the overhaul of its global system for assuring information quality. Her career started in 1994 as a sub-editor for Financial Times' Asia Pacific corporate news service.
Outside work hours, Sim Kih enjoys dance practice and community service.
